Incredible New Year’s catch – 785-pound bluefin tuna!

We all know the saying “like father like son”. What is actually more uncommon is to inherit your father’s sport fishing skills and to make your first enormous catch in the first season you have ever gone sport fishing. That’s the kind of news that makes everyone inpatient to learn more about sport fishing adventures!

What is actually all the fuss about? Well, at the beginning of January a team compounded of a father and his talented son from North Carolina has decided that it’s really important to start the year on the right foot, or, in this case, with the right catch. Therefore, they managed to land a 785-pound bluefin tuna off Morehead City, North Carolina on New Year’s Day. That’s what we call a well done job!

However, the wife and mother of Jason and Hunter Davis, Wendy Davis, told the press that her hard working boys didn’t settle to the first big catch. As a result, they also went sport fishing the next morning and within 12 minutes of lines out, they hooked and brought on the ground a 683-pound bluefin tuna. Now we talk about performances! The proud wife and mother also told the press that this is the first time her husband and son are trying to fish together, so the surprise was even bigger when she heard that they brought on the ground such massive catches.

It seems like the Davis family had a great start to what everyone hopes to be a memorable year.
